How many captions can I generate for free?

On your first day, you get 10 caption sets as a welcome bonus. From Day 2 onwards, free users get 2 sets per day (5 captions each). Upgrade to Premium for unlimited generation.

How do I cancel my Premium subscription?

Open the iOS Settings app → tap your Apple ID at the top → Subscriptions → find Captive → Cancel Subscription. Your Premium access continues until the end of the billing period.

I switched to a new phone. Is my data safe?

Yes — if you signed in with email, Apple, or Google, log back in on your new device and all your history and bookmarks will be there. If you were using the app as a guest (no account), your data is tied to that device.

The AI-generated captions aren't good. What can I do?

Try being more specific with your topic — include the mood, product, or key message. Also try different tones (Funny, Professional, Casual) or switch platforms. Premium users have access to 10+ additional tones for more variety.

How do I delete my account and data?

Go to Settings (bottom tab) → scroll to the bottom → Delete Account. This permanently deletes all your captions, history, and account data. This action cannot be undone.

Is my data private? Who sees my captions?

Your captions are stored securely and only accessible to you. Caption topics are sent to our AI proxy to generate results — they are not stored by the AI provider or used for training. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

The app is asking me to log in but I already have an account

If you uninstalled and reinstalled the app, your guest session was reset. Log in with the same email, Apple, or Google account you used before and your data will be restored.
